Brooke Shields' producer husband Chris Henchy tried to get her accused stalker to back off, but the creepiness continued and intensified, Henchy testified Wednesday.
Henchy, 53, got choked up on the witness stand when he recalled how 49-year-old John Rinaldi terrorized his famous wife, forcing them to report him to cops in May of last year.
1. No. no he never did.
The 2x, I spoke to Mr. Henche was both friendly in nature.
A) in 2006, Chris introduced me to Brooke as the generous guy who sent a baby gift- a gift Brooke said she would not share seeing it was 'too nice.' as she mentioned, and that it would remain on her bedroom dresser. She said I was both thoughtful and overly generous. After speaking, I punched Chris in the arm- in a friendly banter and said my good-byes asking that he take good care of her for us and that she was very special..
When he whisked me across the room and re-introduced me to Brooke. It was a warm and friendly event.
B) the second time I spoke to Chris, is described up above in a transcript. On my way to the pharmacy, which I provided a receipt to provide a reason for being at my pharmacy of 20years.... I saw Mr. Henche and politely introduced myself. After a man to man conversation ensued he then said it was good to see me.
What was released in discovery somewhat reflects what I narrated above and what completely contradicts Mr. Henche.
"I'm not always home," Henchy said, getting emotional at Rinaldi's trial in Manhattan Criminal Court. "I don't want my wife walking out the door have to look left and right for safety, with our kids."
Henchy said he confronted Rinaldi when the fan was outside his family's W. 10th St. home.
"There was a nervous energy about him," Henchy said, adding that Rinaldi was concerned he "had spooked my wife."
Actress Brooke Shields arrives in Manhattan Criminal Court for against the creep accused of stalking her..
Actress Brooke Shields arrives in Manhattan Criminal Court to perjure herself to win a conviction against the child advocate who said NO to a disorderly conduct and refused to accept guilt and a threatened stalking charge. John Rinaldi told the court unlike Shield's & Co. he would not perjure himself to get away with something he didn't do.
"I told him that Brooke likes her privacy and going up to her makes her nervous, especially when she has our kids with her," he added.
Henchy said it "really was upsetting" when Rinaldi sent a rambling email that mentioned Rebecca Schaffer, an actress murdered by a stalker in 1989.
Lies- well exaggerations.. & lies.
Chris did say Brooke liked her privacy, but he also stated that she's hyper vigilant- something Brooke freely admits time and time again. He then told me to not worry about Brooke being rude, not to take it personally and that it was good to see me.
What is upsetting is that the DA forged their case and purged details to even stating that Rebecca Schaefer's murderer's name was John. It wasn't. It was David.
The rambling e-mail was sent after I was told I'd be charged with stalking- something so ridiculous that I had to defend myself, as anyone would/should.
I referenced Ms. Schaefer because that murder had horrified me- it was just two days after I moved to Los Angeles, and it kept me from pursuing what I came to LA for. We had my house-mate from 1989 available to testify.
Whats upsettung as a grown man crying over something he knew didn't happen and lied under oath.
Perjury re in NY is punishable by up to 7 years in prison.
"For him to make that analogy was really disturbing," Henchy said.
Henchy stood firm on cross-examination as Rinaldi's lawyer tried to paint Rinaldi as harmless and neighborly.
ihm, my attorney simply asked Mr. Henche how I approached him and if I said 'man to man.' Which I did say, and which Mr. Henche perjured himself with again.
I wonder of perjury and up to 7 years is different consecutive offenses..
Harmless and neighborly?? I offered up a parking spot.
Shayna Jacobson you know I lived in the same city as Brooke for over 30years... and I only saw Broooke after she moved within 2blocks of me. And the 4times can all be traced with the appropriate receipts upon date of run-in.
John Rinaldi is falsely charged with harassing Shields after she went to local police after being. Asked out on social media for vandalism.
"I was not thinking neighbor," Henchy said. "He approached me with the familiarity of someone who knows a lot about who I am, a stranger," he said.
Earlier in the day, Shields' personal assistant was asked about a litany of troublesome tweets sent out by Rinaldi.
He described them as "definitely aggressive, angry, full of vitriol."
Rinaldi is charged with stalking and harassment. He insists he was contacting and visiting Shields to thank her for her late mother's generosity to him when he was a troubled youth, and to ask for her help with his organization.
Prosecutors have questioned the legitimacy of Rinaldi's Sandy Hook Center, which he says is a charity that helps kids, in honor of the elementary school children murdered in Newtown.
1. Uhm, Brooke told me my gift was to remain on her bedroom bureau, I punched him playfully in the arm. Unless he had dementia he should've remembered that. Especially since I referenced it in a very letter they released through discovery.
2. Brooke's personal assistant was the man who vandalized my car, admitted it in court and warrants my social media rant.
You don't touch a man's car.
NYPD 6th precinct is on video surveillance vandalizing my car TWICE.
'thank you Shayna Jacobson for your poor reporting. You couldn't find a dignified position elsewhere?
